Andy Senior
Andy is one of our oldest coaches, sorry I mean longest serving Coaches! Andy also came initially to try the Tai Chi class but then soon got hooked on the Kung Fu. He has also had a lot of experience in meditation and brings a lot into our classes.

Nikki Smith
Nikki started her martial arts journey studying Kung Fu as a teenager before moving on to study kickboxing at the age of 19. She has been training under Matt for 13 years, and is his longest standing student.
Nikki holds a purple belt in Chinese kickboxing and coaches both the ladies only and the mixed adult kickboxing classes. Having taken up tai chi at the centre 2 years ago, she has recently started to coach tai chi as well.

Ian Harris
Ian initially started training in our Tai Chi classes and since then has started training in our Chinese Kickboxing and Kung Fu classes. His goal is to be the oldest person to achieve their Black belt with Matt. It is currently the age of 53!
Ian has achieved his purple belt in Chinese Kickboxing and blue sash in Kung Fu. He’s a great inspiration in demonstrating that age is just a number.
THINK YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO JOIN OUR SWATS (SPECIAL WINNING ATTITUDE TEAM)
At our club we believe in developing our students and helping them to achieve their full potential. Those that show the right characteristics in our classes get invited to join our SWATs. Being a SWAT means joining the coaching team, helping the lead coach by running warmups, assisting other students in class when they are struggling, and being called on in class as an example of good attitude and technique for the other students to look up to. SWATs attend monthly meetings to learn valuable skills around Leadership, Responsibility, and helping to run Martial Arts classes, arming them with skills they can take forward with them not just in the martial arts, but in life as well.
